Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Training & development The scope of the proposed services will include the following: Develop the overall application architecture, including the design and implementation of new systems and the evolution of existing systems. Provide technical leadership to development teams, including guidance on design and development best practices. Ensure alignment of application systems with LADOTD overall technology strategy and business goals. Collaborate with LADOTD stakeholders, project managers, and other IT teams to define and prioritize application requirements. Research and evaluate new technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Mentor and train development teams on new technologies and best practices. Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory: Ten (10) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in: Data Management Systems Workflow and process automation Security best practices including auditing Application architecture and design Technical Leadership Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable: Prior experience developing state applications or working within regulated public-sector environments. This is a remote position.
