PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an Application Configuration & Testing Engineer to join a new team to support on-site deployments of the warehouse management system for one of the biggest fast fashion groups. The team will be executing tasks necessary for implementing one or more logistics systems (manual and automated) or one or more functionalities, in both new and already existing distribution centers in the Netherlands. These implementation tasks can happen out of hours (weekends).

Must have
Education:
Advanced Technician in Systems Administration.
A degree in Computer Science is a plus.
Experience of more than 3 years in similar positions (Product Support or Systems Administration) is ideal.
Languages:
Spanish C1 Advanced.
English B2 Upper-Intermediate.
Technical knowledge:
Linux
Carry out configuration and preparation tasks:
Volumetric review and request for infrastructure resources
Creation of deployment runs, databases, etc.
Update of profiles for continuous integration.
Document a set of functional tests, as a complement to the descriptions of requirements for new systems and/or functionalities.
Perform and validate a set of functional tests in a pre-production environment.
Document equipment configuration procedures.
Support for IT equipment configuration:
Specific configuration of HHT (PDA).
Verify the installation and configuration of IT equipment.
Parameterization of warehouse management systems.
Parameterization of the flow control layer (Material Flow Control).
Execute functional tests in situ, during the implementation phase.
Perform integration tests with the control layer of the mechanisms.
Validate and verify integration with the mechanism control.
Analysis of application logs for the validation of management systems.
Accompany the commissioning. In situ performance monitoring.
Detect and document bugs, fix them.
Communicate changes to Operations (Corporate, business area, and warehouse).
Document installation layout.
Create and/or update support documentation.
Create and communicate a list of incidents.
Propose functional improvements to the applications.
Create and/or update requirement documents.
Support production peaks. On-site support during periods of sales, promotions, work peaks, etc.
