The application developer is responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of software applications. The personnel ensures that applications run smoothly and meet user needs and possess technical expertise, creativity, and project management skills to deliver high-quality applications within set timelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A recognized degree in Computer Science,
• Information Systems or related field
• 3 years of related working experience
• Knowledge in programming and database
• Proficiency in system analysis methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC), and familiarity with Sybase Database, Powerbuilder or Visual Basic preferred.

• Analyze requirements and provide solutions that meet the required capabilities.
• Write design documentation, both at high-level and low-level.
• Interact and lead design discussions directly with customers to receive feedback on proposed designs.
• Provide inputs for planning and schedule management.
• Author technical documentation
• Support project management activities and be able handle projects simultaneously.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, and team lead(s) to successfully scope, manage, and execute the coded application.
• Maintain the existing functions of the enterprise applications and develop new features to enhance the enterprise applications as requested by users.
• Work with Product Owner/Business Analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release features
• Ensure that applications conform to the required governance and procedures
• Author required Standard Operating Procedures for the applications and IT business processes
• Conduct code reviews and manage code quality.
• Perform decommissioning of legacy system
• Maintains and updates the quality records according to the standard guidelines on identification, filing, storage, maintenance and disposition of these records.
• Assists in control and proper maintenance of internal documents received where applicable.
• Provides feedback to reporting manager about the purchase of products and services supplied by vendors to assist in vendor evaluations.
• Covers duties of fellow colleagues in their absence.
• Performs any other duties as assigned
