Description

As a member of the Hyphen team, the Application Developer is responsible for design and development of services and components on multiple products. The individual will operate in an agile environment and oversee the full lifecycle development for the services working with other stakeholders on the project.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of RESTful web services using frameworks such as Spring Boot, Micronaut etc.
  • Knowledge of OOP language such as Java, C#, C++, etc.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) such as AWS.
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or any related field of study.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standard.
  • Knowledge of security protocols like OAuth2.0 and OIDC.
  • Experience working with a scripting language such as Bash.
  • Experience utilizing monitoring tools such as Splunk, AWS CloudWatch.
  • Experience with the following AWS components: S3, Lambda, RDS, SQS, Glue, EC2, CloudFormation.
  • Experience implementing messaging solutions like Apache Kafka.
  • Experience with building, deploying, running, updating, and stopping containers using Docker.
  • Experience creating and consuming mock endpoints.
  • Experience in Agile environments and methodologies.

Hiring Range*:

  • Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $76,000 - $109,820
  • All Other Locations (within approved locations): $67,600 - $100,555

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
