This position is fully remote - however, the applicant must reside in the metropolitan area (which includes New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and/or Pennsylvania) for occasional visits to our manufacturing facility in Landing, NJ We are seeking an Application Developer to join our internal development team supporting and enhancing core business applications and integrations across the organization. This role is suited for a developer with hands-on experience working with production systems who is looking to grow within an enterprise business environment. The position is part of a collaborative team responsible for maintaining, improving, and integrating business platforms that support finance, operations, and internal workflows. Responsibilities * Support, maintain, and enhance internal business applications * Design and develop integrations between enterprise systems * Build automation, reporting, and data solutions * Develop and troubleshoot code using: * .NET (C#) * Python * MS SQL * Work with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions * Participate in testing, documentation, and deployment of application changes * Collaborate with other developers and IT staff on ongoing improvements Required Qualifications * Demonstrated experience developing or supporting applications in a professional or production environment * Working knowledge of: * .NET / C# * SQL and relational databases * Experience troubleshooting issues, debugging, and delivering system enhancements * Ability to work both independently and within a team Preferred Qualifications * Exposure to ERP or business systems platforms * Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 * Experience working with APIs, integrations, or data automation * Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and/or Power Automate) * Understanding of business process workflows (finance, operations, etc.) * Experience with SAGE X3 or similar ERP systems (nice to have) * Nice to Have: Experience supporting website infrastructure, including PHP-based environments and basic AWS infrastructure tasks (application hosting, storage, or troubleshooting)   About Us:  Prudent Publishing Company, Inc., established in 1929 and a leading manufacturer of premium quality paper products for the corporate marketplace, is seeking a bright and enthusiastic Junior Development Engineer to join our Information Technology Team based in Northern New Jersey.  We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid vacation, health and dental insurance, 401K, flexible schedules and a friendly work environment.  ***The available position is Full-Time and includes benefits for candidates located in the NJ/NY/CT/PA area *** Note to Recruiters and Placement Agencies: Prudent Publishing Company does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
