Location: Greensboro, NC / Fort Wayne, IN / Charlotte, NC (Hybrid: Tues–Thurs onsite, Mon & Fri remote)
Contract Duration: 12+ Months (Contract-to-Hire opportunity)

POSITION SUMMARY

Lincoln Financial Group is seeking an experienced Application Developer III with expertise in integration technologies and application development. The role requires hands-on experience with MuleSoft, IBM Integration Bus/App Connect Enterprise (IIB/ACE), and Java. The developer will evaluate solutions, provide input to plans and estimates, and deliver quality software aligned with business requirements and technical standards.
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite per week (Tues–Thurs) in Greensboro, Fort Wayne, or Charlotte (with preference for Greensboro or Fort Wayne).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5–7 years of application development experience.
  • Hands-on expertise with:
  • MuleSoft Development
  • IBM Integration Bus (IIB)/App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
  • Java Development
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and GitLab or similar tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with infrastructure or architecture design.
  • Knowledge of:
  • Python
  • PowerShell
  • Ansible
  • Cloud computing concepts and relevant certifications.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and support application integrations and solutions using MuleSoft, IIB/ACE, and Java.
  • Collaborate with business partners and analysts to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to standards, best practices, and system development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Participate in DevOps processes, managing deployments through GitLab and CI/CD tools.
  • Support infrastructure and architecture discussions, ensuring scalable and secure solutions.
  • Contribute to estimates, plans, and project deliverables.
  • Provide on-call support as required.
  • Operate as a collaborative team player to deliver assignments within deadlines.
