Job Summary:
Leads team and is responsible for identifying business requirements, requirements management, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations.
Education & Experience
Education and Experience Required:
High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of experience working in healthcare information technology, programming, application development, application deployment, Workday Extend, Epic App Orchard Developer, Epic application support or Workday application support.
Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required:
N/A
Preferred Qualifications:
Workday Pro accreditation or Epic certification/accreditation a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of computer systems, equipment, and applications. Knowledge of technological trends/developments in area of expertise. Knowledge of computer flow charts and of programming logic and codes. Ability to specify and develop computer programs using a range of programming language. Ability to develop, implement, test, and troubleshoot applications software. Ability to evaluate and interpret end user requirements and to develop appropriate systems and/or applications solutions. Ability to plan, design, coordinate installation, test, and modify complex systems and subsystems.

Responsibilities

  • Interacts with academic departments and key faculty/administration as part of leading a team to ensure the proper integration of new business processes within the business systems customer base.
  • Leads team in the creation, implementation, and testing of business process solutions in response to end-user enhancement requests.
  • Performs business process programming in addition to providing training and guidance to staff with regard to the various development tools.
  • Ensures that team has prepared comprehensive and thorough technical program documentation including specifications, test conditions, test plans, test data, etc.
