Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Application Developer with strong expertise in data migration, business intelligence, and .NET development. The successful candidate will design, build, and implement data migration and integration solutions while collaborating in an agile team environment. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy data migration packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Develop stored procedures, triggers, and functions in SQL Server/T-SQL to extract, transform, and load (ETL) legacy data.
• Build and support Business Intelligence (BI) solutions in an agile environment.
• Write application code using .NET C# and Microsoft SQL to deliver both desktop and web-based solutions.
• Integrate SSIS packages with Dynamics 365 CRM/Finance for data migration and system integration.
• Create automated release packages and ensure solutions adhere to source control standards.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis during data transformation activities.
• Produce technical documentation, ERD diagrams, and system design manuals.
• Conduct unit and integration testing, and participate in release and iteration planning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, communicate project status, and provide recommendations.
• Work within agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) to deliver in short iterations with rapid feedback.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager.

Qualifications

EDUCATION (MUST MEET ONE OF THE FOLLOWING):

• University degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 5+ years of Application Development experience, OR
• 2-year diploma in Computer Science or related discipline with 7+ years of Application Development experience, OR
• 1-year certificate in Computer Science or related discipline with 8+ years of Application Development experience, OR
• 9+ years of Application Development experience.

MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years with Business Intelligence requirements design and implementation.
• 5+ years with .NET Core / C# development using object-oriented programming.
• 5+ years with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• 5+ years with MS SQL Server (procedures, data modeling, reporting services).
• 5+ years creating technical documentation and ERD/system design manuals.
• Experience integrating with D365 CRM/Finance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and building data pipelines.

NICE-TO-HAVE EXPERIENCE:

• SQL Server development (indexes, foreign keys, entity model diagrams).
• DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
• Public sector or government project experience.
• Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in large, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Knowledge of Rocket Universe / MultiValue databases.
• Experience with public trustee office / trust accounting systems.
• Familiarity with multiple software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Kanban, Scrum).

  Contract length: 8 months
  Pay: $46.70-$87.11 per hour
  Expected hours: 7.25 per wee
