About the role This role requires experience in HVAC Thermal / Refrigeration System Design & Analysis/ Heat Exchanger design, Component design simulations, Testing of chillers per AHRI/ BEE labeling, Product customization and localization and Project Management JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide technical and application support for VRF and DX product lines across residential, commercial, and light commercial projects. Review project specifications, tender documents, and consultant requirements to ensure full compliance with company products and solutions. Prepare technical submittals, equipment selections, compliance sheets, and value engineering proposals. Coordinate with sales teams to support project quotations, technical clarifications, and customer presentations. Conduct cooling load calculations, system design verification, and equipment selection Support consultants, contractors, and dealers with system design recommendations and product optimization. Ensure compliance with local regulations, MEW requirements, AHRI standards, and project specifications. Provide technical training to internal sales teams, dealers, and customers on VRF and DX solutions. Coordinate with factories and regional technical teams for product updates, special applications, and technical issue resolution. Monitor market trends, competitor products, and emerging HVAC technologies to strengthen the company’s market positioning. Assist in developing application guides, and product positioning strategies.. Ensure timely response to technical inquiries and maintain strong customer satisfaction levels. Role Purpose: To provide advanced technical expertise and application support for VRF and DX HVAC systems by delivering optimized engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with project requirements and local standards, and supporting sales growth through effective technical engagement with consultants, contractors, dealers, and end users. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 5–6 years of experience in HVAC application engineering, with strong exposure to VRF and DX systems. Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, psychometrics, load calculations, and selection software. Good understanding of VRF technologies, inverter systems, refrigerants, and energy efficiency standards. Familiarity with MEW regulations, AHRI standards, and GCC market requirements is preferred. Experience in reviewing tender specifications and preparing technical compliance documentation. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with consultants and customers. Proficiency in HVAC selection software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
