QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or related field).
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in water treatment, process equipment, or a related industry.
· Strong ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
· Prior technical sales experience or interest in growing into a sales-focused career path.
· Proficiency with standard business and engineering software tools (CAD, CRM, ERP experience a plus).
· Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
· Comfortable working across engineering, operations, and commercial teams.
· Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.

Responsibilities

POSITION PURPOSE

As an Application Engineer at Coral Innovations, you will serve as a key technical resource bridging our innovative water treatment solutions with customer needs. You will be responsible for providing responsive support, developing tailored system designs, preparing proposals, and ensuring seamless order processing—all while helping build our reputation as a trusted partner in sustainable water treatment. This role is ideal for an hands on customer focused engineer who thrives in a startup environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is eager to grow into a future technical sales leader.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· System Design & Sizing – Assess customer applications, design optimal water treatment solutions, and identify critical factors for successful implementation.
· Quoting & Proposals – Develop accurate cost estimates, proposals, and supporting materials to meet customer timelines and business goals.
· Technical Troubleshooting – Provide hands-on support and expertise to address and resolve customer issues in the field or remotely.
· Project Coordination – Track order progress and collaborate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
· Training & Education – Deliver training sessions for customers, representatives, and internal staff on product capabilities and applications.
· Customer Support & Responsiveness – Act as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering prompt and effective solutions to technical and commercial inquiries.
· Market Development – Participate in strategic planning activities and contribute insights that help expand our reach into new markets.
