For the continuous growth of the Company, we want to include an Application Engineer dedicated to the Clean Room business. The right candidate has experience in the Engineering Industry, ideally with a focus on HVAC, will be based in Bologna but is expected to visit customers in Italy and the Spanish/French offices.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM disciplines, preferably Mechanical
  • Previous experience of 3-5 years within Clean Concept or HVAC sectors is desirable
  • Fluent in English and preferable in a second European language (French or Spanish)
  • Commercial attitude
  • Well-developed customer facing skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, flexible, with the ability to multitask
  • High degree of enthusiasm and problem-solving skills
  • IT skills - Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 package; ability to work in a digitalized environment
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of time
Responsibilities
  • Work independently and contribute to all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle, interact with customers to understand their needs and engineering design workflows and articulate the value proposition
  • Handling customer’s technical enquiries and translate the need in qualified technical offers (first “quite definitive” designing of the plant)
  • Define the technical project around HVAC, from the Clean Room to the related devices and peripheral tools and building needs
  • Carry out the technical calculation and economic estimation of the projects
  • Follow up on bid revisions
  • Recommends solutions and performs technical visits (meetings, audits, demonstrations, presentations, etc.) for customers, with a proper and effective documentation
  • Apply advanced engineering expertise and knowledge of HVAC and Clean Room applications to provide the highest level of designing
  • Evaluate and select the most appropriate suppliers around the world, in coordination with the Group
  • Work together with the project manager during the execution
  • Technical Support to Customers, Sales Force, Marketing, Production, Service
  • Support the continuous improvement of the technical solutions, even through the feedback from prefabrication and production
  • Promotes internally innovations and best learnings across the company
