Description

The Sr. This engineer is participating and collaborating engineering project team activities for the assigned programs and projects associated with Torque Control products (Mechanical Locking differentials, Electronic Locking differentials, Open differentials, Mechanical-LSD, Electric-LSD and other torque control products) development for EV and ICE vehicles. Achieving the desired results will require individual contributions as well as contributions attained as part of a team. In this role you will collaborate with global team members located in the U.S., India, China, and other regions to engage in problem solving and product improvements. Additionally, the Engineer completes assigned projects and provides innovative suggestions and recommendations for new projects based upon technical knowledge and practical knowledge of divisional needs and strategic directions. Coordinating the reliable and refined inputs and requirements like SOR, package data, Duty cycles, and tests. Learning and applying technical skills related to mechanical and electrical systems to understand customers' systems and supporting new product development engineering activities. Staying abreast of latest industry trends and VOC by incorporating latest technologies into the product development process. Participating in customers activities to demonstrate product technology and engineering capabilities toward earning new business. Practicing consistency across pursuit, product designs, processes, tests, and practices. Documents improvements to the engineering standard work processes used to engineer our products. Apply an adequate level of computer literacy in the areas of engineering systems software, graphics, presentations, and multimedia. Shares knowledge in computer skills. BS degree or above in Mechanical or Electrical engineering. 5 ~ 10 years of related work experience in Automotive industry. Knowledge in driveline engineering (Powertrain products or Torque related product's function and requirement would be better, like experiences in Differential, Axle, EV etc.) Must understand product development process and business system like APQP(PROLaunch) CREO, Auto CAD, CATIA, MS Office etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
