HIAB is looking for an Application Engineer to drive sales by ensuring the right solutions meet our customers’ needs. In this role, you’ll be at the intersection of technology and customer success - making sure our products perform flawlessly in their intended applications. Your expertise will directly impact sales growth by aligning product capabilities with real-world demands.
This position will be based in Raisio, Finland.

Responsibilities
  • Actively driving PLC and DTC activities with stakeholders
  • Input to Portfolio management (different projects, roadmaps and key objectives)
  • Input to architecture to meet customer needs and improve operational efficiency
  • Actively participate improving elements of total cost of ownership
  • Input customer/application view to development and prioritization of PLC (Basic understanding of the development process and its purpose)
  • Customer oriented mindset
  • Market knowledge and external environment - understanding competitor offering and macro economic trends
  • Supply chain and manufacturing process - understand how product management decisions impact supply chain and operations
  • Proficient interaction and partnering with engineering in NPD or PLC activities
  • Lean methodologies and basic understanding of lean principles
  • Sales and marketing process - strong contribution to sales tools, training and marketing content
  • Input to value selling and unique selling points of different products from application point of view and input to marketing from application point of view
  • Understanding financial impact of product decisions.Analyse and interpret performance and create business cases
  • Understanding of project management processes and Involvement in project teams
  • Influencing cross functional stakeholders to align on common objectives
  • Proficient in spreadsheets and other analytical tools
  • Value based pricing
