Yinlun TDI LLC is an ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 certified manufacturer of heat exchangers and fluid cooling components for automotive, commercial truck, bus, and industrial markets. ________________________________________ Position Overview We are seeking a Junior Application Engineer to support HVAC and thermal system applications for commercial vehicle and off-highway customers. This role is ideal for candidates with around 2–4 years of experience who are looking to grow in a hands-on engineering environment. You will work closely with internal engineering teams and support customer programs from concept through validation. This position is based in Morton, IL, with a hybrid work model and occasional travel depending on project needs. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Support customer programs by assisting in HVAC and thermal system application development • Review RFQs and help prepare technical solutions under guidance from senior engineers • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design, prototyping, testing, and validation • Assist in product development and performance evaluation of heat exchangers and HVAC systems • Support documentation such as test reports, DVP&R, and engineering changes • Participate in internal meetings and customer discussions as needed • Learn and apply industry standards and engineering best practices Requirements Qualifications Education • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Thermal, or related fields) Professional Experience • 3+ years of experience in application engineering, thermal systems, or HVAC-related roles • Experience in automotive, commercial vehicles, or off-highway equipment preferred Skills & Competencies • Basic understanding of HVAC systems or thermal management principles • Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks, NX, Creo, etc.) • Exposure to APQP, FMEA, or DVP&R is a plus Additional Skills: • Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills • Good communication and teamwork ability • Organized and detail-oriented Mobility • Based in Morton, IL • Occasional travel (customer visits, testing support, etc.) ________________________________________ Benefits • Competitive salary and performance-based bonus • Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life insurance) • Short-term and long-term disability coverage • 401(k) with company match • Education reimbursement • Paid vacation, sick time, holidays, and floating holidays • Career growth opportunities in a fast-paced, global environment
