  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in building automation or HVAC controls engineering.
  • Familiarity with Delta Controls, Tridium, or similar BAS platforms preferred.
  • Proficient in creating control system drawings, sequences, and equipment schedules.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control logic.
  • Demonstrated experience leading project teams or owning project deliverables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Take full ownership of the technical scope for complex building automation projects.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, other engineers, and technicians to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
  • Apply disciplined workflows and documentation practices to ensure consistency, traceability, and clarity throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead design reviews, encouraging collaboration with other meeting attendees to ensure a quality solution.
  • Create detailed engineering documents, drawings, and sequences of operation that align precisely with customer requirements and internal standards.
  • Support field teams by providing structured handoffs, clear specifications, and ongoing collaboration.
  • Maintain a systematic focus on quality control, accuracy, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Participate in and contribute to internal training initiatives and mentoring efforts to support team development and standardization.
