About this Position As our Lead Application Engineer, you will be the technical champion for our customers and the driving force behind successful product applications in the region. What you´ll do Lead on-site customer visits—perform plant audits, line surveys, troubleshoot issues, and deliver technical solutions that improve adhesive performance. Manage and execute new product and customized application launches, including demonstrations and validation testing to ensure right-first-time success. Run and optimize the Application Engineering laboratory—overseeing equipment setup, sample testing, standards, and best-practice implementation. Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales, Product Development, Product Management, and Quality to build value-based proposals and support customer growth. Prepare technical reports, deliver training and coaching to sales teams and customers, and promote technology innovations across accounts. Support digitalization efforts by applying digital tools for process monitoring, data logging, and predictive insights. What makes you a good fit Minimum 7 years of work experience Should be B.Tech / B.E. – Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Paint Technologies, M.Sc. (or related field). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills (South language speaking preferred) The ability to travel is needed for customer support or equipment installations. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements. Project and Cross-functional management experience.
