As a Bearing Application Engineer working in the Industrial Distribution space, you sit at the intersection of Engineering expertise and customer success. What kind of work may be involved? Provide day to day technical support to customers and internal sales teams across industrial bearings & related products Recommend suitable bearing solutions based on application requirements Support quotation and tender processes by supplying accurate technical input and application guidance Diagnose bearing failures, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions Deliver clear, practical technical advice during site visits, installations, and commissioning support Prepare technical reports, failure analysis summaries, and application recommendations Act as a technical liaison between customers and bearing manufacturers or suppliers Support product training for internal teams to lift technical capability and confidence Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing field learnings and improving application standards What you bring: A qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline Experience in industrial bearing distribution, power transmission, or rotating equipment Strong working knowledge of rolling bearings, housings, seals, and lubrication systems Understanding of industrial environments such as manufacturing, mining, processing, or energy The ability to translate technical detail into practical, usable recommendations Confidence working with customers, from maintenance teams through to engineers and managers Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and professional style What will help you succeed: A practical mindset and genuine interest in solving mechanical problems Commercial awareness, you understand the balance between performance, lead times, and cost The ability to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail A collaborative approach and willingness to support others What is in it for you?
