POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a technically skilled, customer-facing Application Engineer to join our team in Whitehall, MI. In this role, you will apply engineering principles, fluid dynamics knowledge, and process equipment expertise to help customers select and implement the right industrial mixing solutions for their operations. The position blends mechanical design understanding, process analysis, and application engineering—making it ideal for someone who enjoys both technical problem-solving and collaborative interaction.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related engineering or hard science field. -
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Must be able to work on-site in Whitehall, MI. (Some work travel required)
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics or the drive to learn how these fields apply to agitation.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Experience with industrial mixing equipment, process engineering, or rotating equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoys working with both technical teams and customers in a collaborative setting. This job requires both in-person, phone conversations, web meetings.

• Work with customers in industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and water treatment to understand process requirements.
• Recommend appropriate mixing and process equipment solutions using mechanical and chemical engineering fundamentals.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, process specifications, and operational parameters.
• Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with customers, design engineering, and production teams to ensure accurate, efficient project execution. (Project Management)
• Present technical information to customers in person, over video, and at industry trade shows.
