We are looking for an enthusiastic Application Engineer who is responsible for the technical support of customer sales and Customer service for the productline Rotary Filling of Sint - Niklaas. Duties & Responsibilities •Review customer requirements and generate quotes for solutions •Technical assessment quotes customer care and cost estimation •Review customer solutions, layouts, prices and contracts for customer care projects •Participate in customer visits, negociations and technical application meetings •Development of upgrades in collaboration with engineering, R&D, PLM and Sales •Review upgrades with feedback from Service technicians team •Support technical requests from Spares department •Watches over the right scope, fit for purpose, and up to date manuals. •Develop, analyse & improve preventive maintenance programs . Work in team, closely with project engineers, other customer care colleagues and designers • Share expertise with colleagues within engineering, but also towards other departments • Travel when necessary (not frequent and always short trips) to support customers Why work at JBT ... Qualifications •Bachelor degree in mechanical or electrical engineering •Experience in working in an industrial environment communicating across multiple cultures • Knowledge of Excel, Word is necessary: specific knowledge of a CAD system (Autocad and/or Inventor) is a plus • Experience in formalizing application System documentation (Quotes, contracts, ...) more specific salesforce is a plu •Experience with business systems is an advantage, knowledge of JDE is a plus •English language and Dutch is a minimum requirement •Ability to work in a structured context •Good communication skills •Positive attitude and is eager to learn Our offer: A dynamic international environment at a global player with great career opportunities.
