Seco Tools is seeking an Application Engineer in the Querétaro, Mexico area. The ideal candidate will collaborate directly with the North American Sales Team, local and global, Product Marketing Organizations of Seco Tools products and services. Support field sales and customers with training, technical knowledge, component processing, process documentation, troubleshooting, and productivity gains as required to secure sales.

Key Responsibilities:
- Field Sales Support:
- Act as a technical expert on Seco Tools products, promoting their applications across industries such as Medical, Aerospace, Automotive, and General Engineering.
- Deliver impactful training sessions, cost-saving strategies, and innovative solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Support sales growth by identifying opportunities and creating engaging presentations that showcase our value.
- Project Management:
- Lead projects by coordinating with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, and R&D, to meet customer expectations.
- Use CRM tools to track and drive customer-focused activities, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
- Product Portfolio Growth and Direction:
- Collaborate with internal teams to shape product development by providing market insights and customer feedback.
- Participate in research and development projects to create innovative tools and solutions that address customer challenges.
- Champion the introduction of new products by developing comprehensive plans, including training and target account strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in marketing, sales, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in the metal machining industry, with 5+ years in sales or applications.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.
- Strong project management skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A passion for mentoring others and building relationships.
- Excellent communication skills that inspire and influence.
- Fluent in both Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken forms.
- Willingness to travel 30-50%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Aerospace, Medical, and Automotive components.
- Proven success in leading teams, fostering partnerships, and achieving shared goals.
