Job Title: Application Engineer (multiple openings)
Job Location: Riverwoods, IL
Job Type: Full Time
Duties: Analyze, design, code, test, and deploy new user stories and product features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production. Understands the software development lifecycle and leverages critical thinking skills to properly evaluate features and functionality. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
Requirements : Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer; Software Engineer-related occupation.
Position required skills: Position requires experience in the following: Agile engineering and development using Jira and Scrum methodology; Analytics research and relational database management using SQL queries; Software testing principles and methodologies including building and executing unit test cases and identifying, problem solving, and track defects; Data integration tools including Linux and Shell Scripting; and Programming and scripting languages including Python and JavaScript.
Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program
Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $106,558.00 to $150,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
