Napier Turbocharger, a Wabtec Company, has an exciting opportunity for a Applications Engineer to join a well-established business designing, manufacturing, and testing industrial turbochargers supplied into the Power Generation, Marine, and Rail Traction industries.
Role: Applications Engineer
Salary: £Competitive
Location: LN5 7FD, Lincoln
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30am to 15:45pm and Friday 07:30am to 15:15pm
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

WHAT DO WE WANT TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in reciprocating engine/turbocharger performance simulation and testing is desirable.
• Proficient in engine simulation software (preferably GT Power).
• Experience in leading projects (preferred).
• Strong analytical skills for developing performance solutions
• Effective communication of complex technical issues, both internally and externally
• Comfortable presenting internally and externally.
