YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or a comparable field of study completed
• Previous experience in an Application engineering role
• Knowledge of RF PHY layer for at least one of the wireless communications standards such as 2G to 5G, WIFI / BT and UWB
• Experience working with automated test programs and scripts in C/ C++ and Python
• Familiar with RF/system level test equipment such Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Oscilloscope etc.
• Ready to travel worldwide (occasionally) and you have an intercultural mindset
• Fluent English language skills in spoken and written is mandatory and German language skills are nice to have

• Support customers to solve complex technical challenges while using R&S Vector Transceiver products
• Analyze and manage technical issues by working with development resources, project managers and field application engineers
• Be an expert of RF physical layer, automation, wireless communication standards and advocate customers for testing
• Advocate and Support customers for the implementation of R&S Vector Transceiver for their production and characterization tests of different RF components and chipsets
• Participating in trade shows and other marketing activities to promote the company’s products
• Collaborating with the R&D team to provide feedback and insights from customers to help and guide product development
