Description

Major Accountabilities: Conduct value analysis and value engineering activities to optimize product design, improve functionality, and reduce costs. Lead and contribute to the design and development of wiring harness systems for automotive applications. Manage design changes throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to change control processes and procedures. Generate and release engineering drawings, schematics, and charts in accordance with internal standards and industry regulations. Participate in all phases of product development, including concept design, prototyping, testing, and validation. Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) for assigned projects, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with engineering specifications. Coordinate changes to the BOM and communicate updates to relevant teams and suppliers.
