Main Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Application Engineering team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
• Develop and implement engineering solutions tailored to customer needs, ensuring high-quality technical support.
• Work closely with R&D, Sales, and Service teams to deliver optimal power solutions.
• Oversee the technical evaluation and design of power supply systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineering teams to integrate electrical and mechanical aspects in product designs.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Conduct technical training for internal teams and customers.
• Ensure project deadlines and customer requirements are met within budget constraints.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related field).
• Proven experience in team leadership and people management.
• Expertise in power electronics, energy storage, and UPS systems would be appreciated.
• Solid knowledge of electrical system design, and engineering software like EPLAN.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
• A hybrid position with 2 days home office per week.
