We are seeking a highly ambitious and experienced Application Manager to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of critical IAM applications, ensuring their availability, security, and optimal performance. You will collaborate closely with various engineering teams, product managers, and security professionals to deliver robust and scalable IAM solutions

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) with a focus on application management or engineering
  • Thorough understanding of IAM concepts and technologies, including: Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Directory Services (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory), Provisioning and De-provisioning, Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Hands On experience with platforms like Sailpoint IIQ, OKTA, DUO
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Clear communication and collaborative skills, with the capacity to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and system administration
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver complex technical projects

Responsibilities
  • Application Lifecycle Management: Manage the full lifecycle of assigned IAM applications, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
  • System Performance & Reliability: Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure IAM applications adhere to internal security policies, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
  • Incident Management & Troubleshooting: Lead the investigation and resolution of production incidents related to IAM applications, minimizing downtime and impact
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and security teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and drive successful project delivery
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IAM applications, including architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors for third-party IAM solutions, managing relationships and ensuring effective integration
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IAM operations
