Description

Extent of Authority: Work with the various applications and ensure that we build and test the packaging of applications for automatic deployment. Test all deployment packages on all SOE working with other Wintel staff to ensure the SOE is maintained correctly. Manage the SCCM environment and manage the delivery mechanisms of SCCM. Train the helpdesk on the use of SCCM and application deployment. Main Activities: * Perform system administration and support tasks as required and/or as directed by senior members of FF DMS IT * Package applications for deployment to the FF DMS SOE * Maintain existing SOE configuration, provide minor updates, e.g., device drivers, create or modify existing task sequences as required * Consult with IT Managers/Supervisors regarding potential problems across all Business Streams * Work as part of a team, or as an individual as required\directed * Work effectively to targets and deadlines * Research, identify and implement creative solutions to problems * Apply effective escalation procedures - internal and external * Identify and report on opportunities for quality improvement * Consistently demonstrate the process of escalation – How, why, Who, When * Assist in the maintenance of the Support Knowledge Base and any other relevant management tools or documentation * Maintain a strong client/internal customer focus * Ensure a culture within the windows team portrays teamwork, individual responsibility, achievement and enjoymentMaintaining the Information System Disaster * Recovery Manual and coordinating contingency tests. * Ensure all FF DMS policies, including Business Management System and Security policies and procedures are adhered to * Ensure Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to ensure that you, and employees within your area of responsibility, take care at all times to work in a safe manner and report workplace hazards Key Skills: * Solid Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM) skills and experience (SCCM 2007 OSD experience will be considered) * Application Packaging\Repackaging experience using Admin Studio (InstallShield) * Experience working with and manipulating MSI and other installer types. * Excellent scripting skills (PowerShell preferred) * Ability to liaise with key technology SMEs * SOE delivery via Endpoint Manager (SCCM) Operating Systems deployment utilizing Task Sequences * Experience working with Microsoft Office 365 and Teams packages * Ability and knowledge of Intune Application deployments * Vmware View (VDi) experience is desired * Ability to document systems and changes * Good Time Management * Good Conflict Resolution skills * Be conscious of being a representative of the FF DMS Group & behave in a courteous and professional manner at all times * Apply skills learned from training technical courses * Ability to work with minimal supervision * Demonstrate the principles and technologies associated with Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks and the Internet * Demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to document systems and changes Qualifications and Typical Experience: * Minimum 5 years of related IT experience. * MCSE, or other related industry recognized or tertiary qualifications desirable * At least 2 years of experiences in IT Support, Networking and Systems Administration. Special Circumstances: * After hours work may be required as well as on-call * Travel to various FF DMS sites
