ROLE DESCRIPTION

As an Application Platform Architect at Zeta Global, you will be a visionary leader responsible for designing the foundational architecture that supports all of our applications and services. You will focus on building a scalable, reliable, and secure platform that empowers engineering teams to build and deploy applications with speed and efficiency. This role involves defining standards, selecting technologies, and guiding the development of core platform components such as microservices frameworks, APIs, and shared libraries—including those that enable AI agents and agentic workflows.
This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco, CA office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Platform Strategy: Define the technical vision and roadmap for the Zeta application platform, ensuring it meets the long-term needs of the business and engineering teams.
  • Architectural Design: Design and lead the implementation of core platform services, including reusable microservices, APIs, and shared components that serve all applications.
  • AI Platform Integration: Architect and build the underlying platform services and APIs that enable the seamless integration of AI agents, large language models (LLMs), and agentic workflows. Design a robust and scalable infrastructure to support these advanced capabilities.
  • Scalability & Reliability: Ensure the platform’s architecture can handle increasing scale and complexity, with a focus on high availability, performance, and fault tolerance.
  • Developer Enablement: Create tools, frameworks, and best practices that improve the developer experience, accelerate development velocity, and ensure consistency across all applications.
  • Technology Evaluation: Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and architectural patterns to keep the platform at the forefront of innovation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to embed security, monitoring, and operational best practices into the platform’s design and development lifecycle.
