Application Support mission is to provide technical and functional support to users of the banks several applications. In this role you will provide support to user’s requests; incident, problem, and change management; coordination with other levels of support (BAs, Devs, QA, IT Engineers). In addition, it will be required to provide feedback to user and communicate on issue resolution.
REQUIREMENTS:
Technical: SQL, ability to write complex queries and understanding PL/SQL code, SAS, VB & Unix would be an asset
Material: Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Unix/Linux scripting (ksh)
Software: Webshere (WSTX), MQ Series, schedulers (Control-M)
Framework: Practical experience with ITIL best practices, particularly in problem, incident and change management
Functional: Fund Industry / Transfer Agent, Private Capital would be an asset
Systems: Multifonds TA/ eFront FIA would be an asset
Languages: English mandatory
Provide support to users of the systems in a timely and efficient manner.
Build and maintain a knowledge base regarding support issues and their resolution.
Build a working knowledge of the systems and business area in order to provide a high level of support.
Handle performance related issues in Applications.
Processes requests for specific actions (processing, extraction, specific work, etc.).
Creates control points as part of procedures and operating methods to ensure that work goes smoothly and drafts ad hoc reporting.
Prepare environments for releases and ensuring that the implementation and pre-production tests are carried out.
