      We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide the efficient and effective delivery of professional nursing care and support to our customers. Our Registered Nurse provides effective leadership, supervision, and clinical support to our people where necessary.

    Responsibilities
    • Completing and maintaining relevant Assessments and Care Plans in line with Clients’ needs.
    • Working under the guidance and supervision of medical practitioners, working with allied health professionals, monitoring and communicating the customer’s condition, and other health and wellness related activities.
    • Demonstrating a commitment to best practice, ensuring that all services are provided in a caring and respectful way in accordance with Just Better Care’s policy and procedures, and legislative requirements.
    • Monitoring and communicating on the customer’s wellbeing and reporting on progress of customers.
    • Ensuring that all services are provided in a caring and respectful way in accordance with Just Better Care’s policy and procedures, legislative requirements and program specific guidelines (i.e. DVA Community Nursing).
    • Providing training, coaching and guidance to Community Support Professionals, Enrolled Nurses and Support Staff/Case Managers as required.
    • Travelling between customer’s homes and providing individual and personalised support to customers in accordance with their support plans and/or medical practitioner’s directions.
    • Medication Administration and Complex Clinical Care i.e. palliative care, bowel care/suppositories, catheter care, stoma care, oxygen and more.
    • Demonstrating a commitment to best practice and evidence of continued professional development.
    • Participating in staff meetings and attending training opportunities when required.
