We have an immediate opening in Israel, for an Application Scientist, in our applications department. You will perform product demonstrations, develop new measurement and analysis schemes, conduct data analysis, and lead application development projects with customers. This role involves collaboration with various departments within Bruker globally. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, has strong communication skills, and is willing to travel at least 25% of the time. Responsibilities Provide technical expertise through presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance. Develop measurement schemes, models, and analyze customer applications. Support core technology, engineering, and production teams in qualifying new technologies, algorithms, metrology methodologies, software, and hardware features. Ensure product application/solution functions according to specifications, including pre-shipment and post-installation inspections. Support field application engineers, sales staff, and customers by disseminating technical information, providing training, and troubleshooting. Qualifications Degree in Materials / Chemical / Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or other relevant scientific fields (B.Sc. minimum, M.Sc. preferred). Knowledge of Materials Engineering basics (thermodynamics, kinetics, diffusion, crystallography). Familiarity with characterization techniques (hands-on experience preferred). Experience in XRF, XRR, XRD, or HR XRD is a bonus. Good knowledge of statistics and data analysis. Fluent in English with experience in technical writing. Ability to manage customer expectations and provide excellent service.
