Position Description
This role will serve as a technical expert, providing exceptional support to clients, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and advancing the application of our innovative products in the life sciences ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines deep scientific expertise with strong communication skills to empower our customers and drive product success.
Key Responsibilities:
l Provide expert technical support to clients, troubleshooting and resolving application-related inquiries for Secretech’s products.
l Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops for customers, showcasing the value and functionality of our solutions.
l Collaborate with R&D, sales, and marketing teams to translate customer feedback into product improvements and new application development.
l Develop technical documentation, application notes, and protocols to support customer success and product adoption.
l Stay current with advancements in life sciences (e.g., molecular biology, genomics, or proteomics) to provide informed recommendations and enhance customer outcomes.
l Support business development efforts by providing technical expertise during client meetings and industry conferences.
l Contribute to internal training programs to ensure the technical team is equipped with the latest scientific and product knowledge.
Qualifications/Skills
l Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology) or a related field; Bachelor’s degree with significant relevant experience may be considered.
l 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing scientific role (e.g., application scientist, technical support, or field application specialist) in the life sciences industry.
l Hands-on experience with biotechnological techniques (e.g., PCR, NGS, protein analysis, or cell-based assays) and familiarity with laboratory workflows.
l Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
l Proven problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset, with a track record of resolving technical challenges efficiently.
l Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
l Proficiency in English required.
l Willingness to travel up to 20% for client visits, training, or industry events (as needed).
