We are currently seeking an Application/Software Architect, Level 2 to join our team 100% remote based anywhere in Canada.
Position Summary:
The Application/Software Architects will support the assessment, planning, and modernization of the front-end architecture for internal applications as part of the Cloud Modernization project. The resources will focus on migrating and modernizing user interfaces using ReactJS and the Fluent UI framework and will work in coordination with the development team to ensure alignment with enterprise design standards and application consistency. The resource will leverage best practices in ReactJS and the Fluent UI framework to support the transformation of legacy interfaces, ensure consistency across applications, and enhance user experience.

Job Description:

• Assess the current front-end architecture.
• Use the architecture developed for the Safety Analysis application as a foundational design reference for other applications.
• Create a modernization plan for transitioning front-end components and interfaces to the ReactJS framework.
• Develop a common look and feel across all internal applications, guided by the Safety Analysis application design principles.
• Lead the continuous development of a shareable, reusable library of in-house components in ReactJS, using the Fluent UI framework to ensure visual and functional consistency.
• Lead the development and implementation of a feature-based migration strategy for moving existing applications to the ReactJS framework.
• Provide all the necessary knowledge transfer with the development team, including detailed guidance on environment setup (development, testing, stage and production), application configuration, and component usage.

• Microsoft .Net 8
• Entity Framework Core
• Microsoft Azure Cloud Services (Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Application Insights)
• Microsoft Azure SQL and Microsoft Azure SQL Managed Instance
• ReactJS
