Responsibilities
  • Develop the architectural framework for solutions to ensure that data, infrastructure and applications architectures are aligned
  • Translate requirements into architectural decisions and a comprehensive overall solution that includes business, presentation, application, middleware, integration, data, infrastructure, security and system-management architectures, which leverage and conform to the Agencies’ existing architectural framework
  • Translate architectural decisions into high-level designs; review and develop artifacts for alignment with the overall architecture
  • Work closely with development teams, providing guidance and mentorship throughout the analysis, design, and implementation of the updated solution architecture
  • Provide transitional support to the operations environment.
  • Develop solutions by producing a detailed design from the high-level and detailed requirements and the high-level design, including flow charts, process diagrams, workflows, and other relevant diagrams
  • Translate the detailed design into configuration files for the Microsoft SharePoint on-premise version 2016 or later that align with application and network architectures and follow the high-level and detailed requirements and the high-level design
  • Correct deviations from high-level and detailed requirements and designs by revising the configuration files
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of the solution by preparing and testing sample data by means of system acceptance test runs made by operating personnel
  • Assemble specifications, flow charts, diagrams, layouts, programming and operating instructions to document the solution for later modification or reference
  • Develop and prepare a Support Plan that will include planned tasks and proposed service levels for each support tier
  • Perform issue and incident resolutions as required.
  • Work with IT Security on vulnerability, threat and risk assessments
  • Provide knowledge transfer to support team in IIS.
