WHAT YOU BRING

We’re looking for someone curious and driven by a passion for both technology and customer collaboration.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• A relevant university degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar.
• Strong interest in Application Software Development, gained through studies or personal projects.
• Proficiency in C# and C/C++.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in a similar role or working with comparable applications.
• Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink/Embedded Coder.
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud and Embedded C-code development.
• Understanding of XCP communication on CAN and UDS communication on CAN.
• Passion for things that move – such as vehicles, aircrafts, or boats – or experience with related applications.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Software Engineer – Application PC, you will have the unique opportunity to work on innovative software solutions for customer applications in various industries. You’ll be involved in the entire development process, from specification and prototyping to certification and mass production, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
This role combines technical expertise, hands-on development, and customer interaction. You will collaborate with engineers and clients worldwide, contributing to NIRA Control’s mission of delivering efficient and sustainable systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with Cloud and Application engineers to develop specifications.
• Implement functionality in C#, C, and C++.
• Perform functionality tests in the lab and on customer applications throughout the development cycle.
• Manage software releases and document strategies (e.g., design descriptions, handbooks).
• Travel as required to meet customers, understand applications, and implement solutions on-site.
• Deliver agreed-upon solutions on time and with the correct scope.
