JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced application business analyst to join our Information Technology Department. The ideal candidate will have experience from a similar technical support role in HR and/or finance, with a focus on technical expertise, and take on the support and business process lead, including the change and incident management, escalation to 3rd party vendors, documentation, and training of HR & Finance teams to ensure full adoption and optimization.
In addition, the business analyst will coordinate internal projects with vendors and internal teams, such as IT, Finance, HR, etc., to ensure that the implementation is completed within agreed-upon timelines.
The analyst will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions to optimize HR and Finance processes.
This role will work within the IT business analyst team and closely with the end-user computing team on technical troubleshooting and escalations.
Reports to the Chief Technology Officer

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance would be a benefit, as would computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Project management experience and relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP) are desirable
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an IT / Business Support Analyst, with a focus on HR and Finance technology applications
  • Proficiency in HR and Finance software applications (e.g., Paycom, NetSuite preferred or experience with SAP, Oracle, Workday) and familiarity with database management and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Create and present to small and large teams, including senior management
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail.

    Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, understand, and document business requirements and identify opportunities for continued process improvements for HR and Finance technology solutions.
  • Analyze current financial workflows and systems to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Work with colleagues in HR and Finance to ensure they utilize the platform fully and establish workshops to assist in improving usage
