About the job:

• Support for trading, sales, and middle office: technical and functional support
• Background: technical, better if candidates know about finance, at least an interest in finance
• Responsibilities: requests, incidents, some releases, some QA, some testing. 80% production and 20% projects or tests.
• Work closely with development teams

Skills

• Must have: UNIX, SQL
• Nice to have Windows server is useful, read code in Java/python is useful, automation skills.
• Environment: main clients are traders, sales team, middle office, front office.
• 20+ applications: pricing, booking, etc.
• motivated, curious, someone asks questions, has lots of energy.

Day to day

• Morning check to be sure everything is working when the market opens.
• During the day: answering requests.
• Side projects, for continuous improvement.
• Initiatives for improving processes, automation.
• Evening check > follow up with Asia.

Languages: English is mandatory to enable communication with traders in New York, French is a plus.
