About the role We're seeking an Application Support Analyst to provide application and batch support to key technologies used across Transurban. You will join a large group of application support analysts who a collaborative and have a deep customer centric approach to their delivery. You will play an integral part to the business enabling roadside transactions to be constructed, rated and allocated to a specific customer account. This role will require an on-call stage periodically. Day-to-day, you will: Incident Management: Resolve incidents within SLA objectives, ensuring minimal business disruption. Batch Scheduling & Processing: Maintain, analyse, and update batch workflows to support operational efficiency. System Monitoring: Proactively monitor systems to identify and address issues before they impact services. Service Request Management: Action and fulfil service requests in a timely and accurate manner. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of improved processes, procedures, and standards. Change Management: Execute application operations changes in line with governance and compliance requirements. On-call Support: Provide after-hours support on a rostered basis. This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: Technical Experience Middleware platform - Experience in WebLogic administration of mission critical systems Oracle Fusion suite (highly desirable) CRM Systems - Skilled in managing and supporting Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing platforms or Salesforce administration Database Management – Experienced with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server RDBMS. Operating Systems & Networking – Proficient in Unix and Microsoft client/server environments. Integration & APIs – Hands-on experience with API Management platform. Cloud Applications – Familiar with AWS web services and custom Lambda applications. Monitoring - Experience in Splunk, Oracle Enterprise Monitoring or equivalent APM tools. Service Management– Experience in ITSM tools, ServiceNow, JIRA and Confluence Managed File Transfers (MFT), workload automation and CICD pipeline experience (advantageous) Core Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to remain composed and effectively manage challenges as they arise. Methodical, analytical approach to solving complex problems.
