Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will spend your day investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. Your role involves monitoring system performance, diagnosing problems, and ensuring smooth operation to support business continuity. You will collaborate with different teams to maintain system reliability and contribute to continuous improvement efforts in a dynamic work environment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. - Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions to build a knowledge base for future reference. - Monitor system alerts and respond promptly to minimize downtime and impact on business operations. - Assist in the deployment and configuration of software updates and patches. - Continuously seek opportunities to improve system performance and support processes. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS). - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services within Amazon Web Services. - Experience with monitoring and incident management tools to ensure system health. - Knowledge of automation and scripting to streamline support tasks and improve efficiency. - Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud environments. - Ability to analyze logs and metrics to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS). - This position is based at our Manila office.
