About the Role: As an Application Support Engineer in C4i Solutions, you will be responsible maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimising business-critical applications to ensure their reliability and performance. You will act as a key link between users, developers, and infrastructure teams, resolving technical issues, monitoring system health, and implementing fixes or enhancements. The role involves incident management, root cause analysis, system configuration, and supporting continuous improvement to minimise downtime and improve user experience. The role is located onsite in Sydney, CBD. About the role: Monitor application performance and system health to ensure availability and reliability. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents and service requests. Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative solutions. Manage and prioritise incidents in line with SLAs and business impact. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues. Deploy application updates, patches, and configuration changes. Maintain and update technical documentation, runbooks, and support procedures. Support user onboarding, access management, and permissions. Conduct system testing and validation following changes or releases. Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement to enhance support efficiency. Support incident response activities and technical investigations where required. About you: Australian citizen (required for Defence projects) with a min AGSVA NV1 clearance. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Relevant industry certifications (e.g. ITIL Foundation Certification, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) Experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows and/or Linux) Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls) Communicates clearly and confidently, both written and verbal. Is highly organised with strong attention to detail. Builds positive relationships and manages stakeholders effectively. Works well independently and takes initiative. Can manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Adapts easily to change and works well in a team environment. Why Join Us?
