Responsibilities

ABOUT YOUR FUTURE ROLE

As Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the smooth functioning of ARIC Application. This includes monitoring of ARIC application, troubleshooting and resolving incidents and issues, providing technical support to end-users of ARIC and maintaining the ARIC application.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be :

  • Monitoring and Alerting : Responsible for ARIC Monitoring and Alert handling to proactively identify performance issues before they become critical and resolve. Optimize alerts by establishing appropriate thresholds and integrate Alerts to ServiceNow to be able to respond to them in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Troubleshooting and issue resolution : Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving incidents, and issues on ARIC
  • ARIC Technical support to end-users : Assist end-users in resolving issues, provide guidance when it comes to tech related matters with ARIC
  • ARIC Application Maintenance : Responsible for ensuring ARIC’s smooth functioning, including version upgrades and maintenance tasks, monitoring performance, and maintaining security and data privacy standards such as PCI, GDPR and DORA
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing : Documentation and knowledge sharing is a critical component of the role.
  • Optimization and Automation of maintenance tasks : Constant focus on optimizing and automating application maintenance tasks, to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:

  • Software engineer with 6-8 years of experience, preferably familiar with ARIC or similar transaction monitoring application
