Responsibilities

As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing 3rd line support for critical business applications. Your key duties will include troubleshooting complex issues, managing incidents, and ensuring timely resolutions in line with SLAs. You’ll also proactively maintain and optimize our application landscape, contribute to internal projects, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 3rd line support for incidents, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and internal/third-party teams to ensure timely incident resolutions.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to recreate, debug, and resolve issues, while performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Participate in on-call support for critical incidents outside regular hours.
  • Maintain and update support documentation for deploying and configuring applications.
  • Monitor, deploy, and manage application updates, patches, and configuration changes.
  • Contribute to internal projects by reviewing technical designs, assisting with environment builds, and supporting deployments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, including data protection, health and safety, and acceptable usage regulations.
  • Assist with any other duties within the scope of the role, as requested by your line manager, based on business needs.
