THE PERSON:

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience in Information Technology
  • Proven experience as System Administrator, Windows/Linux scripting and coding to achieve operational automation
  • Prior experience in facilitating project deliveries and new technologies to ensure supportability
  • Incident and Change Management skills and experience, ITIL experience preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge in Azure, Microsoft PowerPlatform, Postgres/SQL, DevOps CI/CD, Scripting (Batch, Powershell), SaaS system admin experience
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills, including the ability to interact, influence, and manage expectations
  • Excellent oral, written and communication skills to write high quality reports, and present information to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail and accuracy
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for dynamic interaction and a broad understanding of user experience
  • Dedication to continual learning, to support development and ever-evolving business needs
  • Strong critical thinking skills and passion for growth
  • Ability to self-direct and adapt quickly

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for providing face-to-face, phone and remote support services to staff, students, and parents to resolve daily issues relating to Applications and Systems. As an Application and System Support Analyst, you will regularly review and prioritise support activities involving incident, problem and change management.
General familiarity with a broad range of technology is essential, expertise in Windows Server is required.
Core to the role is delivering support activities to a high standard and working with stakeholders to appropriately recognise and respond to their needs.
This position is permanent, full-time and based at the Kew campus.
