• Develop, debug, and optimize V93000 based application tests in Böblingen TestLab
• Manage, drive transfer and release of customer devices to TestLab
• Lead the introduction and implementation of V93000 based test solutions to improve TestLab application device test coverage
• Lead a virtual team with members from R&D and CoE/AE during operation and issue analysis of V93000 based test solutions
• Ramp and mentor test engineers with specific focus on application test/debug background
• Collect and evaluate R&D features and test requirements (on existing and new products) to further improve test coverage and capabilities
• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, manual and automated test procedures to ensure the highest possible test coverage in our HW/SW-System Test
• Analyze existing manual and automated test procedures to analyses coverage, test gaps and duplications of test effort.
• Analyze existing processes for installation, configuration and maintenance of software and tools for various test environments
• Improve test coverage and reduce test execution times in close cooperation with other SW teams working on automation solutions
• Identify, define, and implement automation solutions wherever possible and feasible in close cooperation with other SW teams working on automation solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in semiconductor testing, preferably as an application engineer working closely with Advantest customers
• Proven experience in development, debugging and correlation of V93000 applications
• Project experience in at least of the following technologies: digital, mixed, RF
• Good knowledge of C/C++ and Java programming language
• Good knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Good knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Linux shell scripting, Python, etc.)
• Ability and motivation to work with minimum supervision in project teams in a global environment
• Good communication skills to work in a cross-functional team
• Good knowledge of EnglishPreferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge and experience to extend existing test HW such as load boards
• Project experience in multiple technologies: digital, mixed, RF
• Proven experience in working with SmartTest 7
• Good knowledge of German
