Job Overview
We are looking for an Application Testing Engineer with expertise in manual and automation testing within the insurance domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or TestComplete and strong knowledge of insurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Develop and execute manual and automation test cases
✅ Use JIRA or similar tools for defect tracking and reporting
✅ Build and maintain automation frameworks with Selenium, Appium, TestComplete
✅ Perform testing in SIT, UAT, Ad hoc, and Exploratory phases
✅ Collaborate in triage calls to address defects effectively
Technical Skills
✔ Automation Tools: Selenium, Appium, TestComplete
✔ Defect Tracking: JIRA (or similar)
✔ Agile Methodologies: Scrum/Kanban
✔ Test Reporting: Defect summary reports, test metrics
Soft Skills
Strong collaboration with developers, product managers, and stakeholders
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Passion for continuous learning and improvement
Interview Focus Areas: Test life cycle, defect triage, defect/test metrics, and defect uploading in JIRA.
