ROLE SUMMARY

As the Applications 3rd Line Team Lead, you will be a pivotal leader and hands-on technical expert, ensuring the high availability, performance, and security of Kaplan Professional UK’s critical web application and database estate across multi cloud environments. You will lead, mentor, and empower a team of 3rd Line Application Engineers, driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and effective incident, problem, and change management in line with ITIL standards. This role requires a strong commitment to compliance (SOX, ISO27001, GDPR, PCI) and proactive engagement with both IT and business stakeholders.
