Description Location: New Avenues to Independence – Cleveland, OH About Us: New Avenues to Independence is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing services and support to individuals with disabilities. We are committed to empowering individuals to live independent, fulfilling lives and to be active participants in their communities. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Application Analyst! The Applications Analyst is responsible for ensuring on-time configuration, testing, documentation, implementation, maintenance and end user satisfaction associated with New Avenues’ core software systems. Key activities may include defining functional specifications and configuring the software applications. Other activities include creating/maintaining reports and dashboards, staff training, client training, end user support, and application administration. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting and problem resolution for current and future functionality of both client and staff software. Determine client technology needs, requirements and available solutions. Software includes: Client Care, HR/Payroll, Financials, Microsoft Office and other department-specific applications. Applications Analyst is also responsible for training and administration of Ring cameras, Nest thermostat and other client assistive technology. Key Responsibilities: Application Analyst is the main contact and oversight role for all core systems, including client technology. Maintains software security levels by staff role. Assists users with reporting as needed. Identifies and troubleshoots technical and business rule issues, and work with core vendors support to resolve. Provides overall recommendations on efficiency and options for productivity gains for all NATI software. Assists business units in analyzing and refining business processes to leverage software capabilities. Provides analysis and problem resolution to enable education, implementation and documentation of a variety of software. Coordinates software updates with core vendors and internal staff. Coordinates testing as needed. Assists users with current business rules and assist with implementing new rules in software as needed. Communicate changes to staff as needed. Provides remote and on-site support for staff and clients, visiting sites to ensure staff is comfortable with systems and processes. Provide guidance and training on software. Establish standards and best practices for assistive technology, as well as administration, documentation and vendors. Responsible to promptly report to supervisor any circumstances that negatively impact information security or data integrity within systems. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 3 years of experience in application analysis, implementation, and support, preferably in a non-profit or healthcare environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Proficiency in software development methodologies, programming languages, and database management systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Current State of Ohio driver’s license with 4 points or less on the individuals BMV driving record, and required insurance coverage. Maintain auto liability insurance with at least state minimum coverage level.
