Job Summary We are seeking a Workday Application Analyst I to join our healthcare organization and support the HR components of the Workday ERP ecosystem, including Human Capital Management (HCM) and related HR modules. This entry-level role focuses on assisting with application support, configuration, testing, documentation, and end-user support under the guidance of senior analysts and functional leads. Qualifications The Workday Application Analyst I partners with HR stakeholders and internal technology teams to support day-to-day HR system operations, understand foundational HR business processes, and help implement system enhancements that improve efficiency, data accuracy, and employee experience. This role provides hands-on exposure to Workday HR functionality while building core skills in business analysis, application support, and enterprise HR systems within a healthcare environment. The Workday Application Analyst I reports to the ERP Application Manager and works closely with senior analysts, HR functional leads, and integration partners. The ERP Application Analyst will report to the ERP Application Manager Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Contributes to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications across their lifecycle Translates business requirements into functional specifications and supports quality assurance and testing efforts Provides end-user training, documentation, and ongoing application support Handles end‑user tickets by providing timely resolutions and routing escalations to the appropriate teams. Troubleshoots issues, resolves problems, and escalates appropriately to ensure timely solutions Delivers high-quality, customer-focused support, including reporting and operational tasks Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing timely responses to user inquiries. Maintain Opus Job Aid and eBook, ensure the creation, upkeep, and regular updates of Opus Job Aid and eBook to reflect changes in processes, systems, and organizational objectives. Qualifications: 0–3 years of IT experience, preferably supporting software applications in a healthcare environment Experience supporting, developing, or operating software applications Ability to document workflows and business processes Strong problem-solving and communication skills with technical and non-technical users Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and common productivity tools Skills/Abilities/Competencies: Ability to understand and document business and HR requirements with guidance Basic analytical and problem-solving skills Experience documenting workflows and business processes Exposure to software testing and validation activities Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage assigned tasks and priorities Willingness to learn Workday HR modules and functionality Familiarity with ticketing or service management tools Ability to follow established procedures and escalation paths Comfortable working in a team-based, fast-paced environment Adaptable and eager to learn in a changing environment Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct reports Fiscal Responsibility: No direct budgetary responsibility Demonstrates fiscal responsibility by effectively using Mass General Brigham resources Working Conditions: This position is hybrid: primarily remote, with the expectation of being within a commutable distance for regular onsite work at the Assembly Row offices on a set cadence. May require occasional local travel to MGB sites, vendors, or conferences.
