Description

Description Perform engineering duties to develop, coordinate & monitor laboratory tests. Interface with sales & communicate test objectives, test planning, & test set-up of equipment with customers. Prepare test reports, perform test analysis & obtain/provide test samples to client. Maintain applications database. Calculate & upscale lab machines to production units. Prepare cost estimates & quotes for Eirich & APS equipment, & Tower Mills. Lead maintenance & continuous improvement of the Quality Management System as it conforms to ISO 9001. Ensure effective implementation of quality systems such as Management Review, Internal Audit, Process Control, Corrective & Preventative Action. Manage & maintain the ECAR, ESCAR, ORFI programs. Prepare quality documentation & reports. Supervise Lab Test Technician. Requirements Bachelors in Mechatronics Engineering or related field (will accept foreign degree equivalent) plus 5 years’ in a position involving quality & testing in an industrial lab plant setting documenting & auditing compliance in accordance with quality management system standards & performing advance root cause analysis of product development & production phases. 20% domestic travel & 5% international travel required. Valid driver’s license, ability to adhere to Eirich Machines Inc. driving policy, drug test, criminal, & basic background check.

Responsibilities

This role involves performing engineering duties to develop, coordinate, and monitor laboratory tests, interfacing with sales and customers regarding test objectives and setups. The manager will also lead the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System conforming to ISO 9001 standards.
