POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Applications Architect / Software Development Manager to lead the development and maintenance of multiple enterprise applications. This role requires managing a blended team of full-time and contracted developers, applying best practices across the software development lifecycle, and ensuring that technical solutions align with business goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in .NET technologies, relational databases, and enterprise application architecture, coupled with proven leadership, project management, and communication skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years in Enterprise Software Development Life Cycle.
• 10+ years hands-on experience with .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
• 10+ years excellent verbal and written communication skills, including customer-facing communication.
• 5+ years experience estimating project timelines and resource requirements.
• 5+ years experience with Agile/Scrum and traditional SDLC methodologies.
• 5+ years proficiency with ETL and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL).
• 5+ years managing both full-time and contract developers.
• 5+ years familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket).
• 3+ years leadership/management experience overseeing enterprise development teams.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience with government or education enterprise solutions.
• Experience with Blazor Server and Blazor WebAssembly (WSM).
• Experience with Power BI.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and data visualization tools.

• Lead and manage multiple software development teams across various enterprise applications.

• Provide hands-on technical guidance in .NET and relational database technologies.
• Lead development of ETL processes and data centralization for reporting.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external development resources.
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance through reviews and best practices.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
